Life is eternal and love is immortal; And death is only a horizon,
And a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight.
Rossiter W. Raymond
This memorial website was created to remember our dearest VIOLA L. MANSKE
The Watcher
She always leaned to watch for us
Anxious if we were late,
In winter by the window,
In summer by the gate.
And though we mocked her tenderly
Who had such foolish care,
The long way home would seem more safe,
Because she waited there.
Her thoughts were all so full of us,
She never could forget,
And so I think that where she is
She must be watching yet.
Waiting ‘til we come home to her
Anxious if we are late
Watching from Heaven’s window
Leaning from Heaven’s gate.

Light a Candle
Light a candle for those we mourn.Into a new life they will be born.Do not look for them at the gravesite. They are somewhere else radiating their beautiful light. They have gone to a new world where there is no darkness, no pain.Their light and essence will always remain.Light a candle for those who have left this mortal place. They are free to travel through time and space. When we think of them, they are near. When we sit in a beautiful garden. Their voices we hear. When we listen to a divine symphony,We close our eyes, their faces we see.Light a candle for they have not really gone. With each flickering flame, in your hearts they will always belong.© A.Pell 24/08/2005
